Brahmanandam came to Hyderabad once and happened to accidentally meet writer Adi Vishnu who introduced him to NCV Sashidhar of DD. They started a serial called Pakapakalu. Adivishnu, Musicologist Raja, BV Pattabhi Ram etc. recommended him to Jandhyala. Brahmanandam met Jandhyala and shown many of his skits. Jandhyala was very happy and appreciated Brahmanandam.
Brahmanandam's first film was Sri Tatavataram Katha, second film was Satyagraham and third film was Aha Naa pellanta. Since then he did not have to look back. He did around 35 films per month.
